Great campground. Clean bathrooms and showers. Full hookups with free cable. Mature crowd. Pool was great and they are working to update jacuzzi. The cottages looked very nice although we did not stay in them. River frontage and great place to walk and explore.
It is located in the foot of the Smokies and so close to everything. The accomodations were excellent and staff was very helpful with our stay and even recommended places to eat, visit, must see. They went above and beyond and we will be back! And referring to our fellow campers/RV users that travel the BBQ circuit!
We chose the Whispering River Resort to hold our end of basketball season banquet. The location was easy to find and the parking was great for our large group. The event center was very clean, spacious and equipped to meet the needs of our group of 100+. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the river and the pool. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We look forward to returning in the future.
We stayed here for 5 days in our RV. What a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Close enough to other attractions, yet far enough away to have your peach and enjoy your surroundings and just relax with you family. Place is clean with lots of space.
I was here with the previous owners, but we will be back with the new ones sometime this year or next. I highly recomend this place for a little R and R.
We spent a few days in Walland TN when we were traveling to the Gatlinburg area. The resort was clean (the cleanest bathrooms/showers we have EVER used), people were friendly, and there was a lot of room between RV sites.
An excellent place to park the RV and cruise over to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Maryville, or ride the Tail of the Dragon.
My husband and I stayed for one week, for my husband’s job. The park is nothing fancy, but it was clean and the spots were mostly pull thru. There is a very large grass area that leads down to the Little River and is very pet friendly. The sites are all gravel, but ours was level and had no problem fitting our 42′ fifth wheel in the spot. There is a pool, but it was not open yet. The park has a laundry facility and bath house, but we didn’t use them, so can’t comment. Owners were very friendly and gave us suggestions for dinner and ice cream. Don’t miss visiting Cade’s Cove while there…maybe 20 minutes away and well worth it! Along the scenic, 11-mile loop, we saw bears, deer, and wild turkey. We would stay here again!
