We have more direct river access than any other resort or campground in the area. With over a thousand feet of direct access available to our campers. Not only do we have thousands of feet of waterfront access, we have over 40 acres of recreation area for you and your family (pets included) to explore.

Just the thing to stretch your legs, do a little wildlife watching or just relax and listen to the birds chirping. We also offer 10 private bathrooms with individual showers.

					Our stay was mostly quiet except for our neighbors barking dogs from time to time. The staff here are very kind and friendly! The campers, at least at the time… read more of our stay were the most unfriendly campers we’ve come across in 5 years. Not that, that reflects on the campground itself. It doesn’t. Just a statement. We will stay again when back in town for the Smokey Mountain Classic. The view of the Smokey Mountains around us at the campground was a beautiful thing to wake up too!

Twice I went to the office to purchase ice, wood, etc and both times they were closed and out on the grounds somewhere but… read more it looked like they were well stocked.  The river and walking path runs along the park and the bathrooms/showers are updated and nice.  Tried to shower in the morning and the water was ice cold so that didn’t happen.  The sites had electric, water, sewer so that was good.

It is tucked away in a… read more beautiful setting in the woods with a beach on the river. The owners and staff were very nice and accommodating. They do a fantastic job with the upkeep of this property. We loved the very clean individual restrooms and showers. Our granddaughter loved the pool. They also have a clean laundry room on-site. If you are looking for a quiet campground with nice amenities, Whispering River Resort is the place for you! We highly recommend this campground.
